Works perfectly on glass tops. I use a stainless one with a smooth wide rim – no sharp parts, so zero scratching risk. It rests on the pan rim only and stays stable without touching the cooktop. Catches most splatter, keeping the glass cleaner (less baked-on grease to scrub). Airflow is good, heat transfers normally. My cooktop looks much better since using it.
